Exercise with Mandy

Mandy is the Coordinator of Fitness at the UND Wellness Center and offers a session once a month for staff and faculty to work on building our large muscle groups (abdomen, back, legs, hips, chest, should and arms).

She talks about proper technique, repetitions, related stretches and all while you are doing the exercises together. It is a beginner-level series.

Mandy joined the UND staff in June 2009.

Sessions are FREE and personal and run from 12:10-12:50pm.

Sessions:
Abs and Back: Tuesday, September 29th, Wellness Center – Room 272-274 – COMPLETED. 7 Attendees
Upper Body: Tuesday, October 13th - Hyslop Gym – Track Area – COMPLETED. 8 attendees.
Lower Body: Tuesday, November 10th- Hyslop Gym – Track Area.
Yoga/Stretch: Tuesday, December 15th, Location TBA.

  • Please call Kim Ruliffson, Coordinator at Work Well (777-0210) with your name and phone number to hold a spot in the class by Monday, the day before.
  • Handouts will be e-mailed to participants after class.
  • All classes are on Tennis Shoe Tuesdays – so wear your tennis shoes. You can stay in your work outfit or bring more comfortable clothing.
  • For classes at the UND Wellness Center – please bring your UND ID. You do not have to be a member to go to the class – you will sign in as a visitor.
  • Also, if you are a UND Wellness Center member, this can count as one of your 12 visits if you are using the Health Club Credit wellness program.
  • Attending this session gets you 1 class closer to both $100 and 250 MyHealthCenter points
